KEYNOTE SPEAKER had a poor start spotting the field on the break, was roused under the wire for the first time trying to get into the race, caught up to the pack midway down the backside, rallied four wide around foes at the five sixteenths pole with the pace faltering, loomed boldly in the six path, widest entering the stretch, seized control drifting inwards pulling away on the rail leaving the furlong pole and held safely for the win at the wire. MESSY RIDING assumed command easily crossing over clearing away on the fence around the first turn, slowed the pace down unopposed along the backside, bunched up the field slackening the tempo even more holding on up top at the quarter pole, offered no resistance when the winner swept past outside in upper stretch, shifted to the three path at the furlong pole to get clear run, closed back in late but it was not enough to threaten for the win at the finish line. CELESTIAL HEART had the rail sitting near the rear, advanced smartly up the fence by the half, moved in at the quarter pole saving all the ground around the far turn, shaved the corner in the conversation inside foes in upper stretch, was no match for the overpowering winner by the furlong pole, fought on for the place share late but crossed the wire all alone settling for the show money instead. WONDERFUL QUALITY had the rail in close pursuit of the frontrunner, contently sat isolated off the pacesetter down the backside, came under a drive chasing the leader on the final bend two wide, shifted to the three path for the stretch run but could only finish up one paced down the lane capturing a minor award. MANN COURT travelled two wide on the first bend close to the back, made no movement outside of runners along the back straight, closed the gap coming with a run three wide at the quarter pole, was in tight having the four path between horses at the head of the lane but could not get involved lacking a rally in the final furlong. WILD EYES FOREVER tracked the loose leader outside initially, settled into stride still outside in the third flight keeping aim on the front two rivals in the backstretch running, was going the wrong way three wide at the five sixteenths pole, resurged between horses briefly five wide at the quarter pole, stayed on the incorrect lead through the drive and folded by the eighth pole.

NOISY CRICKET bobbled slightly on the break, travelled alongside the frontrunner pressing the issue outside down the backstretch, poked a head in front two wide in midturn, angled to the three path clinging on up top with rivals bearing down in upper stretch and doggedly kept finding more when urged on the prevail between horses at the finish line. FIELD HOCKEY was unruly prior to the start unseating the rider, calmly trailed the field outside four deep with the field tightly compacted at the half, ranged up three wide midway on the turn, took even closer order reaching for ground four wide at the quarter pole, swung out widest in the five path with the field abreast turning for home, inched up to the winner late but it was not enough while just getting the nod for the runners up share at the wire. HOITY MORONI emerged from the early scrum on the rail having a neck advantage inside down the backstretch, surrendered the lead but continued to duel on the fence throughout the bend, shaved the corner still in contention in upper stretch but could only run on mildly inside in the final furlong losing the secondary share in coming to the wire. BIG LEW had horses on either side travelling in mid-pack, sat poised two wide behind the contesting pair on the turn running, angled to the four path with it being anyones race at the top of the stretch but evened out in the last sixteenth of a mile to settle on the fringes in the end. KNOWING had the rail position drafting behind the engaged duo, continued to rate kindly waiting for the cue from the rider to make a move sitting behind the lead duo around the turn had a clear lane two wide in upper stretch but failed to fire in the late running.

GOT A COMPLEX was fleet footed out of the gate getting the early advantage, rolled along in hand being well rated slackening the tempo having little pressure applied by rivals through the turn, moved to the three path for the stretch drive and when asked for run had more fending off runners for the frontrunning score. LITTLE ALEXA was unhurried at the rear with a half mile to run, shifted out reaching for more ground circling horses four wide at the quarter pole, posed the main threat widest in the six path turning for home but just could not get by the determined pacesetter in deep stretch. SKYDIGGER bobbled on the start, recouped to prompt the pace outside down the backstretch, continued to shadow the leader but not making any headway around the turn, shifted to the four path still in the thick of things straightening out for the drive, could not keep up to the front duo in the final furlong and just lasted at the finish line between foes for the third place share. COMPLEX SECRET had rivals on either side while keeping a close eye on the front duo, hustled two wide between horses but could not make any progression in the turn running, dueled inside foes for the show money in the last sixteenth of a mile but was nosed out at the wire settling instead on the fringes instead. RUTHLESS ACTION bobbled at the break, settled three deep in mid-division early on, kept pace outside a couple of rivals travelling three wide throughout the oval, angled to the four path stalling in mid-stretch, finally switched leads late getting another gear and closed in sharply in deep stretch but lost the nod outside of a couple of rivals losing the three way finish for third. MOMANDA had the rail sitting in the middle of the pack down the back straight, took the short way around the bend but was hard ridden losing position at the quarter pole, scraped paint entering the lane but wilted inside of runners midway down the stretch

LADY IONA pressed the pace from outside from the outset racing two to three deep, moved to a narrow lead at the five-sixteenths, drew clear in upper stretch and held safe. TOP OF D MOUNTAIN was a bit rank steadying slightly in behind the leader early on the first turn, settled down soon after tracking in behind, moved out at the five-sixteenths coming to the top of the stretch three wide, could make no headway on the winner but fought on inside a foe to hold the place. BOSS LADY J settled at the rear near the inside, advanced through a seam leaving the far turn swinging four wide into upper stretch and gaining, lacked the needed late kick and was outfinished for place. SCAT HUMOR settled off the pace inside saving ground, tipped out in upper stretch and ran on. LADY RAINICORN settled outside a foe off the pace, raced mostly two to three wide throughout, ran on in the stretch to pass tired rivals. ADORABLE ANGEL was strongly urged at the start to make the lead, set the pace at first from just off the rail then nearer the fence up the backstretch, was hounded by the eventual winner, overtaken by that one at the five-sixteenths, gave way in the stretch. ARMORED GUARD chased from outside caught four to five wide early, went three to five wide on the far turn, failed to menace. BLING D'MONEY HOME chased from between foes three to four wide early, raced two four deep on the far turn, failed to make a bid.

SARATOGA GOLD got over from the outer post to have a clear lead on the fence by the five eighths pole, slowed the tempo down having company outside when a trio of rivals closed in at the half, was let out a notch edging away on the rail count up to the turn, calmly controlled the pace with the rider sitting chilly inside with outsides foes chasing at the five sixteenths pole, spurted away once again when having the lines shook up two wide at the top of the lane and kept to the task late comfortably holding on for the gate to wire win. WINNING WIZARD had a good spot on the fence paired up with an outside foe watching the contentious quartet slug it out down the backside, made a sharp rail rally advancing inside through the turn, hugged the rail posing the main opposition turning for home, kept trying to the wire but could not get to the more seasoned winner in the late stages. FLATTER ZIP initially was in midfield between runners, took back smartly watching the dueling foursome outside with a fellow rival midway along the backside, improved slightly on the fence in midturn, shifted to the two path in with a chance for a piece of the prize between runners in upper stretch and finished up with intent but was well back of the lead duo being a distant third in the end. FURNIUS had the four path sitting in mid-division in the beginning stages, closed in between runners three wide part of the early scramble up top at the half, regressed two wide at the midpoint of the turn unable to keep up to the front three runners, had the rail in mid-stretch battling for third money but lost he duel in the final seventy yards taking only a minor share home at the wire. TOO FAB FOR YOU pressed the pace inside leaving the chute, then was reined back moving to the outside re-engaging the frontrunner at the half, continued to chase in earnest outside two wide around the bend, drifted to the four path straightening out for the stretch drive, battled outside for the show award at the furlong pole but faded in the late going. STREET SAVANT was void of early foot seeing the field along the back straightaway, offered a mild spurt two wide passing a runner coming to the quarter pole, angled out five wide for the drive but failed to menace in the stretch running. BAYTOWN DA VINCI progressed going four deep along the backstretch prompting the pace outside three rivals by the half mile pole, dropped back unable to keep up with the lead threesome by the seven sixteenths marker, continued to retreat while going three to four wide around the oval to trail by the quarter pole and could not factor being wrapped up on in the last eighth of a mile.

WELL LIT tracked the pacesetter outside in the beginning, was in tight due to the frontrunner drifting out clipping heels between foes stumbling early on into the backstretch, tenaciously moved inside on the rail at the half coming to the leader, battled on the fence head to head up front through the turn, shaved the corner getting a slight advantage in upper stretch and under a vigorous ride continued to stave off that outside rival for the gutsy win in the final furlong. TRANQUILLO broke sharply getting the early lead, drifted outwards entering the backstretch under a snug hold dictating terms inside on the front end, was forced to quicken outside two wide with the eventual winner rallying up the rail at the three furlongs marker, dueled outside in a match race throughout the turn, relinquished the lead two wide in upper stretch, kept digging in down the entire lane having the race to themselves in the stretch running but was denied at the finish line with the winner unyielding having a head in front in the late going. STEELE TOWN hopped up at the break trailing along the backside, started to come with a run but had to be checked leaving the seven sixteenths pole when just starting to come with a run outside while the inside rival drifted out, quickly regained his stride passing that individual outside in midturn, kept on fighting in the three path trying to get to the front duo through the stretch but just had to much to overcome and finished up a solid third in a four horse race all things considered. STELLA POINT prompted the pace three deep in the beginning, could not match strides with the front pair who started to quicken the tempo at the half, drifted three wide pushing a rival out entering the turn, dropped back having no run to be at the rear by the five sixteenths pole and lost touch in upper stretch cantering across the finish line.

MAGICAL FACTOR settled outside a rival in the second flight mid-pack, was asked three wide at the quarter pole within range, gained steadily drawing up alongside the leader and wore down that rival to just prevail. FIRST EMPIRE was forwardly-placed stalking the leader from outside, moved nearer leaving the backstretch, took the lead in upper stretch but faced an outside challenger, was outfinished. EVER DANGEROUS was taken in hand racing inside at the rear, moved out heading into the far turn advance three then four wide on that bend, could not reach the top pair but secured show honors. CATCH THE ACE got away alertly going straight to the front, set the pace in the clear, steadily weakened. COUNTRYBOYSURVIVE was under a hold outside at the rear, received encouragement leaving the backstretch, failed to rally. UNIQUE POWER chased from inside mid-pack, dropped back and faded.

VOLCANIC emerged from the far outer post getting in good position going only two wide keeping a close eye on the contesting duo, rated kindly on the outside waiting for instructions from the rider when to make a move at the half, pounced three wide outside a couple of rivals midway along the far turn, took over control smartly in the four path at the top of the stretch and held well under a busy ride late for the win. ONENIGHTSTANDARDS galloped along on the inside of two contestants at the back of the pack, settled into a good rhythm loping along having only one runner beaten down the backside, was moving four wide with a sharp turn of foot at the five sixteenths pole going around horses, circled rivals six wide when straightening out for home and had a strong stretch run outside but was just second best to the winner who got the early jump in upper stretch. CAN'T JUMP was forwardly placed tracking the front pair on the rail, patiently waited inside watching the embattled trio fighting it out at the five sixteenths marker, angled four wide shifting off the tiring early leaders commencing a rally, chasing the winner in vain at the furlong pole and just got picked up late by an outside rival for the place share while well ahead of challengers for the third pace prize. MY BOY BRUCE sat on the outside paired up with another sitting in mid-pack, offered no change through the back straightaway, moved in taking closer order three wide around the last bend with a quarter mile to go, shifted to the five path in with a chance at the head of the lane and ran on mildly outside many rivals in deep stretch winning the scramble for the minor award. ETHNIC SOUL had the fence relaxing in midfield in tandem with an outside foe, made little progression down the backside, was scrubbed on unable to gain at the quarter pole, shifted to the three path between horses battling for a minor placing but evened out in the last furlong. FAST AND READY was brushed on the outside on the start, settled outside another near the rear, made no headway on the last turn when roused by the quarter marker, had the two path in upper stretch, lacked running room at the eighth pole and when getting clear late improved position in the final seventy yards. SHAMATEUR cleared away getting to the rail setting a moderate pace on the first turn, had a narrow lead inside being pressed down the backstretch, continued to fight on keeping a head in front of two others around the last corner, skimmed the fence conceding the lead to the winner outside in upper stretch but could not find more late wilting with runners on both sides in deep stretch. SPACE LAUNCH had the rail position ahead a only a few runners on the initial bend as well as throughout the backside, made little impression on the rail around the final turn and could not factor finishing up one paced on the rail in the last eighth of mile. SO CALLED VACATION was hard sent between horses in the beginning, hounded the pacesetter in the first part of this two turn event, vied between rivals two wide midway on the far turn battling up front, still remained in the mix just off the rail but the winner was starting to get away in upper stretch and had little left in the tank, faltering between foes in the final sixteenth of a mile. BOURBONONAHOLIDAY broke inwards on the start, settled between runners two wide part of the back trio early on, could see the field lagging behind in the backstretch running, travelled four wide on the final bend passing an inside weary straggler straggler at the five sixteenths pole, swung out widest to the six path for the drive but could not get involved. AUDAX MINOR was part the tail end going three wide outside a couple of runners on the first of two turns, advanced slightly three deep midway along the back straight, had little to give three wide on the second bend being relegated to the rear at the five sixteenths pole and could not find anything in the drive being a long last in the stretch running.
