PROGRAM INFORMATION
Everything you've come to expect in a traditional program including race number, post time, race conditions, purse, exotic wagers, program number, post position, morning line odds, horse pedigree, owner, driver, trainer, etc.
PAST PERFORMANCE LINES
Up to ten races back of historical past performance lines, complete with the exclusive TrackMaster speed and class ratings. Other data elements include track, race date, race number, track condition, fractional and final race times, point of call with lengths back, horse's final and last quarter times, driver, official odds, and top three finishers. Race comments, field size and trainer change and claim details can also be found in the ten line version.
CLASS RATINGS
TrackMaster assigns a class rating (CR) to today's races and all races in which today's starters have raced. A top class race might have a class rating of 100 while a lower-level claiming race might have a CR of 70. By comparing the CR of today's race and the CRs for each horse's recent races you can tell if a horse is moving up or down in class, facing an easier or more difficult field that it has recently. The ratings are deigned to be equal across all tracks. So a horse that has been successful in races with a CR of 90 at one track should be competitive in a race with a CR of 90 when shipping to a different track.
SPEED RATINGS
TrackMaster assigns a speed rating (SR) to each horse's race, where there is enough information to accurately do so. These ratings tell you how fast a horse has been performing. It is based on the horse's actual time and other factors, such as the composition and condition of the track and the post position the horse started from. A horse who races in a top class race might earn a SR of 100 for a good performance while a low-level claimer might earn a 70 for an average performance. Like the class rating, the speed rating is weighted for different tracks and conditions and designed to be equal across all of them. A horse that races consistently in the 80s at one track should be competitive with horses that race in the 80s at another track.
